Profile
Sourced description · Not a firsthand review
The plum tree is the image behind Kobunboku. Baieido’s North American distributor describes a traditional combination of sandalwood, borneol, clove, cinnamon and other medicinal herbs.
That is a partial blend disclosure from the distributor, not a complete manufacturer recipe. The title does not verify plum blossom as a raw ingredient.
Tokusen Kobunboku is the closest documented comparison here. The distributor describes the same base formula with Kalimantan aloeswood added.
Autumn Leaves offers a broader wood-and-spice comparison through its cinnamon and sandalwood disclosure. Neither shared materials nor the plum-tree name proves how similar two burns will feel.
What to check before choosing
The distributor gives 120 minutes only for a separate 14-inch temple variant. It does not apply to this shorter format.
Where smoke is unknown, that is missing evidence, not an average level. Low smoke is reported only as a maker claim.
Burn time depends on the exact format and conditions. We do not convert package dimensions or a different stick’s specification into a measured time.
No current price per stick is verified here. Different box sizes, currencies and shipping costs make unsourced price comparisons misleading.
Partial ingredient disclosures cannot establish a complete formula or a health claim. Ventilate the room and use a heat-safe holder; never leave burning incense unattended.
